Gillian & Tyler

Gillian & Tyler tied the knot at the Metcalfe Center in Maxville, home of The Maxville Highland Games which is an event close to their heritage & hearts.

Gillian chose a very Scottish bouquet with earthy tones and a rustic feel with a pop of purple! We used thistle, the national flower of Scotland, mixed with limonium and statice, a close cousin to traditional Heather, which is meant for good luck! The pop of purple came from the beautiful lisianthus & dried lavender. Her bridesmaids carried a smaller version of Gillians bouquet.

Tyler & his groomsmen wore boutonnieres of thistle & dried lavender a perfect fit with their kilts!

We used all the same florals to make arch pieces for the ceremony, large arrangements for the tops of barrels that were used for both the ceremony and reception, as well as centerpieces for all the tables. 

This couple danced the night away and kept the party going until the wee hours! Congratulations Gillian & Tyler!
